No Words!

Shack (aka LD’s) Update: Was supposed to be great weather on Sunday…. Low and behold wind got in the way…WTF!

Third time was supposed to be the charm! The dip and bisque are so on point that the most recent reviews gave us an A+ and A rating respectfully!!!! For those of you that know Westminster Crackers, I snagged a big box when I was in Rutland last week to go with the bisque – nothing but the best for LD's and bringing a little of our hometown flair to our new-town flair😊

Lobster Update: As Billy Shouldice said in the Wild Harbor Inshore Slam weekly fishing update and Insta post: “The time has come and to most of us it feels like Christmas morning!” You got that right folks, we are just getting this party started! Fishing tournament closes 9/5/2020 at 12pm. Get your fish in if you're registered! BTdubbs LDL Co. is sponsoring Lobster rolls on 9/6/2020 for the end of the year banquet down on the cape for those of you in the tournament! Yours truly will be serving up LDL Co’s secret lobster roll recipe!

August Update: We had a record-breaking August not only for the F/V Liza B, but also as a team. The F/V Liza B hauled in a total of 136 for the month of August and F/V Murphy’s Claw added a huge number of bugs with an additional 99; a month total of 235! That means we shipped a lot of lobsters to a lot of you, put some away for good-keeping, fulfilled orders for LD’s, and tested a couple new recipes ourselves! Ready for the season total to date??!? I know some of you doubted us, ehem Aunt Tara definitely calling you out on this one…what’s 201?!

Season totals so far for F/V Liza B and F/V Murphy’s Claw is 455! Shit is crazy bruhs!!!

For everyone else that we more than doubled your bet – sorry not sorry, have more faith and take note for next year.

Disclosure: For those of you who do not have as vivid of a memory as I… Due to boat issues….We only fished 2 days of August 2019 for a total of 19…. Suck it August!

LDL CO. Excursion Highlights: We had a coupla out-a-statas here this week who got to go on “The LDL Co. Excursion”. Here are Aunt Anne’s remarks on behalf of the westerners!

” It’s only the end of August, but I finally got to go out on the Liza B. This time I had friends with me from (collectively) California & Wisconsin. Salty they aren’t, but we turned them around! It’s been one of the hottest & most humid summers ever, but we got to wear down & fleece coats for the outing…August in Maine (insert eyeroll). The day was cold (actually cold!) and grey all day but the seas were just right. Will put us on 10 traps, and though it was a light haul, he pulled up the biggest lobster of the season with us there to bear witness. It was SO big (and CUTE, as Sam Morse says) that he had to go back in the briny deep. The bucket may not have been filled, but my friends will be dreaming of sweet, fresh lobster on their trip to Maine for a long time to come. Maybe Sayner Pub, Sayner, WI should order lobster from LD Lobster Co and offer its patrons lobster rolls, don’cha know! Thank you Will for a fun afternoon & your hospitality. And…… for all you nay-sayers out there who thought my ‘aggressive’ and ‘inflated’ lobster pot guesses were too high this season, look who’s gonna have the last laugh…just sayin…” - Annie B.

The North vs. South challenge starts tomorrow and goes through Columbus Day (Same as the LDL Co. Pot Deadline) – whatever is in the traps tomorrow night is the start of this little escapade. Can’t wait to show these cocky little Northern shits what lobstering is all about. They even had the audacity to ask me for bait the other day…hmmmmm.

Stayed tuned for a very important special announcement this Wednesday! - SERIOUSLY!!!!!!

Peace, Love, and Lobsters

Capt’ Duder!

P.S. This week's VT cooler went to fellow potter Matt Brush and Fam! - Enjoy!
