This week I am coming to you from the Lobster capital of the world (well I'm home now, but I started the draft up there). ... That's right folks, way up DownEast in Stonington, ME. The crew of the Liza B went up for the second annual lobster camp trip to hopefully get some luck to rub off on us!
The boys found their perfect size boat!
It has been a really long, frustrating, and quite frankly, kick in the balls type of season. From hurricanes, downpours, broken motors, farming, and honestly not good fishing luck! We have 6 days left in the pot and the lobsters have finally arrived. We have caught 25 and 16 from The Liza B the last two times!
Hoping "Murphys Claw" gets back in before the end of the season although, I'm fairly certain they won't be ready to launch before the end of the pot! Here are the numbers!

It took us a very long time to knock out our first potter - John Manekis. John, we need to reschedule before the end of October! Joel, Kim, Belden, Mr. Junkin, JoBanny... Looks like your low guesses may have worked (with whatever formula you used). Danielle you may be just out of reach, and everyone else I hate to say it - but sorry for letting you down! This was not how LDL Co. was envisioning the 5th annual lobster challenge going! (I blame kids). We plan to go on Wednesday, Saturday, and obviously Monday to close out the 5th annual LDL Pot! We will obviously continue to fish until the boat is pulled out - most likely the end of October, so lobsters will be available (although Liza and I will start our winter stock ups!
Three more fishing days! Who is going to take home the $2,646.00 prize?!?!?
