Angry Angry Ocean

October 6, 2019 at 12:56PM

The sea was very very angry today!

Capt. Tony said "stay at the dock". But I felt like I had an obligation to all of you!

So we went....

We made it just beyond the mouth of the river by the coast guard station...and once we saw a sailboat disappear behind a swell and almost tip over we turned around. It was not good and I'm not exaggerating! The mast was almost touching the water. I was scared - I literally said “OMFG!” I almost lost the breakfast sandwich I had earlier. And with no current “will” drafted up, I was even more scared that if we didn’t come back, the littlest Duder was last seen in the hands of Mom and Cait with no written instructions past 1:00PM! I also had 3 racks of ribs on the smoker and a date at TJ's for the Pats game...it would have been a shame to miss all of the afternoon fun!!!

There is a big northeast front coming Tuesday through Thursday. I have been told by some reliable sources to move traps or lose them...so I HAVE to go tomorrow and figure out my game plan...nothing like late season trickery by Mother F-ing nature.

Boat is still for sale in case we have any takers.

Total Count: 209

Happy Sunday, Go Pats!
